Who is relationship counselling for?
Relationship counselling is for anyone, couples and individuals, who are experiencing difficulties as a result of issues to do with relationships.
This may be as a result of an event within the relationship or external factors impacting on it.
It might be because of a build up of small issues that on their own are unimportant but taken together causes friction and difficulty.
There may be sexual issues that need to be addressed rather than continuing to use other ways of expressing your anger, frustration or sadness.
Relationship counselling is also for people embarking on a relationship who are keen to recognise what might become a crunch point and learn strategies to manage them and above all find a way to express themselves in a constructive way so that each feel heard by the other.
If you have had difficulties either forming satisfactory relationships or sustaining them, it is useful to understand what is maintaining this and what can be done to make a difference.
You may be at a point in your relationship where important decisions have to be made, such as starting a family or making plans about your extended family.
You may have reached a decision to end your relationship but need a safe boundaried place to talk through the ending and plan how you can go forward in a constructive way.
